A unique exercise program for older adults

We are very excited to launch our new program, called FIT.VINTAGE, which was developed to help adults above the age of 50 engage in strength exercise. Fitness professionals with hundreds of hours of experience lead on-line strength exercise classes using Zoom.

Program Highlights:

  • Format: Live Zoom strength exercise classes

  • Classes focus on strength, balance and agility

  • A safe space to exercise from the comfort of your home

  • Small group classes are fun

  • No equipment required

  • Exercise programs are founded on scientific research to provide optimal results

Are you including strength exercise in your routine?

The CDC in 2020 reported that only 31% of adults met the guidelines for muscle-strengthening activity.  However, maintaining strength is critical for increasing longevity, maintaining cognitive function, maintaining physical ability & independent living, and reducing the risk of chronic disease.

Health Benefits of Strength Exercise

  • Exercise can increase muscle strength 20-30% in older adults

  • Increased muscle strength reduces risk of developing dementia by 60%

  • Strength exercises reduce the rate of falls and risk of fractures by 40% in older adults

  • Muscle strength training for 30 minutes or more per week is associated with a 23% reduced risk of heart attack in men

  • High levels of physical activity are associated with up to 25% reduced risk of certain cancers

Let us help you get into the best shape possible to enjoy your best years.
